If you come here with knowledge of my blog, Born Free, you may know me as Mukta. If you don’t, well, that’s me.

The first thing you need to know about me is that I have been a designer before I even knew it. When I was a kid, I loved formatting text. I liked experimenting with MS Word very much, using pre-set fonts and pre-set layouts, and it was years later that I discovered Canva. As a beginner in design, the website was a whole new world to me, and I spent hours together putting my newly-found font collection to good use.

As time flew, I discovered how to download fonts, and went through various free font providing websites, picking up typefaces. As I developed my skills, I realized that Canva was not enough. I then began my journey with Photoshop, and my life has changed ever since.

Photoshop has been a trusty tool to me. Nowadays, I use nothing else. Even for simple things that can be done using just about any other design software like testing out a new font or creating colour palettes, I use Photoshop. My passion for design started there. Since then I have tried to cultivate my newfound interest- I have taken a selection-based design course by renowned designer Alicia Souza and have also taken a short course in illustration.

As of now, I hope all goes well in your stay here.  Bon voyage!

I love that you are using your passion for graphic design for a lovely purpose! I’ll ask my brother if he wants a blog design. I know you follow his blog: arhansavenue.wordpress.com.
