Project 2.1- Typically Untypical Teen Overview

I’ve known Buttercup from her blog Typically Untypical Teen from quite a bit of time, but I believe doing this project with her helped me get to know her even better. She was very easygoing, decisive and easily available when I was, and working with her was a ton of fun!

She set the palette, theme and everything, but gave me a lot of freedom with the design. We experimented with a versatile range of fonts and feels and got the whole thing done in a matter of days.

OVERVIEW

About Typically Untypical Teen

“I believe that everyone is #DifferentByDesign, so my goal is to encourage others to be themselves. To show that you don’t have to be what society says you should be. It’s okay to take a different route in life.”

The logo was finished at the end of the whole design and was perhaps the easiest to make.

The button has an interesting story- The texture I used for the header was used as the background here. 😉

Testimonial from Buttercup

Having a designer other than myself was new for me so I wasn’t sure what to expect. After completing the redesign of my blog, however, I’m completely in love. The process was fun and exciting! I was included in every step and I’m really tickled with how my new design is to me. I’d refer Design Pique Studios to anyone. My go-to graphics designer. If you need a job done fast and efficient, Design Pique Studios is the one for the job.
